This AddOn enables the usage of LDAP directories (like MS Active Directory or OpenLDAP) for information retrieval about users and groups used in the Enhydra Shark kernel at runtime. It enables you to use existing directory information of your environment instead of having to maintain redundant user/group information in the Enhydra Shark database.

This AddOn provides a series of extensions to the Enhydra Shark workflow kernel for greater flexibility and/or better system performance: usage of undefined process variables at runtime, avoid creation of activity context variables, selective Assignment manager usage, selective assignment creation, creation of default assignments, selective assignment deletion, selective handling of unsatisfied split conditions.

This AddOn provides a special DODSPersistentManager extension that reads XPDL's extended attributes in order to determine if process instances or variables should be persisted into the database and / or should be deleted when the process is finished. This AddOn is normally used in combination with the corresponding AddOn for the event audit persistence manager. It determines if a process instance or process variable will be TRANSIENT. If a process instance or a process variable is TRANSIENT, their data won't be written into the instance persistence database. For process instances this is useful when then process is e.g. completely automatic or you do not care about process instance data. Making process instances TRANSIENT improves overall performance. For process variables it is useful when the variable values just matter inside one transaction.

This AddOn Java Swing application enables you to view the graph of the XPDL definition for the processes to be instantiated and to read their XPDL properties, graphically monitor process instances, unload a group of XPDL Packages, synchronize XPDL caches (useful when using several engine VMs with the same DB), update XPDL definitions, disable/enable process factories, abort/terminate/delete a group of processes, abort/terminate/suspend activities, view process histories, add/remove XPDL Application definitions->Toolagent mapping, clear process/resource caches and change their sizes, reassig tasks to different users, do a fast process deletion and lots of other functions based on extended kernel API features (if corresponding AddOns are configured)

This AddOn enables you to get information about starting and ending XPDL activity definitions for a specific process definition, get information about XPDL activity and transition definitions following a specific activity definition, get information about XPDL activity and transition definitions prior to a specific activity definition, get information about first or last executed activities within a specific process instance, get information about activities from the process that are waiting to execute, get the 'manual' activity executed prior to a specific activity instance, abort the running activity and perform a backward navigation in the process instance , abort the running activity and perform a forward navigation in the process instance, abort the running activity and move to a newly instantiated activity of a specific activity definition, abort the running activity and go to the previously executed activity within the process, perform a re-evaluation of all assignments for a specified user, perform fast process deletion (if DODS Selective Persistence add-on is also available)

This AddOn provides a special implementation of the DODS transaction. When applied as Enhydra Shark's AddOn it improves the overall Enhydra Shark performance and minimizes deadlock occurrences in a multithreaded usage scenario by introducing a buffered transaction which is sorting SQL table access before submitting SQL statements against the database. It enables Enhydra Shark to be used under extremely heavy load with many concurrent threads accessing the workflow engine.
